What is obedience?
Surrendering yourself in front of the will of beloved (God) .Thus it can never be achieved in the absence of Ishq (love). After attainment of ishq (love) obedience is natural and inter-related process which follows the lover and the lover adopts it. He who surrenders will find the best in the will of his Master.
Even Allah says in the Holy Quran says : ‘Lo, religion with Allah (is) the Surrender (to His will & guidance)’. (3:19)
But how will we be able to surrender? Loosen our grips over the dark holes of materialism, self and ego to fell in the gravity of divine love.
“ISHQ ALLAH MABOOD ALLAH”
Translation: “Allah is love and the Beloved”,
Obedience is only achieved once a person open his eyes in front of his beloved that he is able to see the blessings of Allah surrounding him. Obedience can never be achieved for the sake of reward or loss, any thing obeyed for the sake of the former feelings is but a deal. Yes Allah is the most fair one in his dealings ! but he who obeys him for the sake of reward or loss looses the pleasure that can be experienced in true obedience ! Thus my friends obedience is a result of Ishq. The next step in the journey of soul towards its lord!
Only enjoyed by those who fall in the grip of divine love. And all those who obey Allah for the love of Allah, attain the state where Allah develops an immense love for them. As it is said:
Take a step towards him and he will take ten steps towards you, and remember no complains because:
Almighty says in the Quran: “Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you.” (2:184-185)
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: Be mindful of Allah,[for] you will find Him before you. Get to know Allah in prosperity, and He will know you in adversity. Know that what has passed you by was not going to befall you, and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship.“(Sahih-Tirmidhi-Book of Sunahs of Prophet Muhammad PBUH)
We the whole Ummat is suffering , But be patience and obedient because
Our Beloved says in the Quran: And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun (the patient)” (2:155)
May Allah awake the Ummat-e-Muhammadi and re-unite once again (Amen)
